Fanti Packaging is a group with a family soul that is renowned for its global business vision. Our headquarters is in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna, Italy), where our company was born in 1948 thanks to the foresight of Giorgio Fanti who converted aluminum cans into packaging for the chemical sector. From then to today, what was a small local company has grown and developed, becoming in all respects a small multinational.

Founded in Bologna in 1948, it has grown from small local company to small multinational enterprise, through a journey of constant growth marked by significant acquisitions and a clear internationalisation process.
Today, through the synergy of numerous branches worldwide and with a team of over 500 employees and independent contractors, we have established a presence in key markets across Europe and the United States of America. Our fully in-house production capacity exceeds 180 million pieces per year, including, cans, buckets and drums made of metal, plastic, and hybrid materials.
This allows us to combine a global industrial approach – identifying trends and fundamental changes in our industry – with a strong local footprint, adapting our vision to the specific dynamics of each market and customising strategies and actions to maximise their effectiveness and success.

Since its origins, Fanti Packaging has made innovation its main goal, transforming a tin of meat into packaging for paints and chemical solutions.
